Early in my "professional" career, I spent a fair amount of time working as a tech writer, the benefit of this being that I developed a decent command of the English language. This has served me well over the years. As a fairly famous surf fisherman on Long Island for 40 years, I have written many articles for online sport fishing publications, as well as providing content on the subject for my own youtube channel @richtroxler, to over 20k subscribers. I'm also in the process of writing two books, one on surf fishing, and one fiction (political adventure), and of course, the audio short stories that I present to you here, for your enjoyment. This first one is entitled "Last Man Standing" and is a fictional story on how a small New England town deals with American Indian mysticism.

This next story is entitled "The Sound Of Fall Running" and chronicles the events of my early life growing up in Milford, CT. While it reveals my introduction to fishing and the impact it made on my life, the story is really about a series of life lessons, trials and tribulations, and of an unlikely friendship that developed along the way. Basically, the type of things that most kids go through when their age moves into double digits.
